GYEON Q²M ECO Wash – SiO₂ Rinseless Wash, Waterless Wash and Drying Aid

GYEON Q²M ECO Wash is a concentrated SiO₂ wash product with three uses: rinseless washing, waterless cleaning and a drying aid after a conventional wash. Changing the dilution lets you adapt the same product to the task instead of treating every wash situation identically.

The formula adds slickness, gloss and light water repellency, making it useful for maintaining ceramic-coated or uncoated vehicles when a hose-based wash is inconvenient. Choose the method according to the level of dirt, and use plenty of clean wash media. A rinseless or waterless routine still requires careful handling of contamination.

Key Benefits

  • Three applications: Supports rinseless washing, waterless touch-ups and conventional-wash drying.
  • Reduced water use: Offers a wash method without a final hose rinse when conditions are suitable.
  • SiO₂-enhanced finish: Adds gloss, slickness and a light hydrophobic effect.
  • Concentrated format: Mix only the strength required for the chosen application.
  • Flexible maintenance: Useful for coated and uncoated cars across different wash setups.

Product Details

Rinseless dilution 1 part product to 150–256 parts water
Waterless dilution 1 part product to 10–15 parts water
Drying-aid dilution 1 part product to 20 parts water
Rinseless example at 1:256 Approximately 20 ml product in 5 L water
Available sizes 500 ml, 1 L and 4 L

How to Use

  1. Assess the dirt first. Heavily muddy, sandy or gritty vehicles need a thorough pre-rinse or conventional wash before towel contact.
  2. For rinseless washing, prepare the selected dilution in a clean bucket and saturate suitable wash media.
  3. Wash one small section gently, using fresh towel faces or clean media as they become dirty. Do not carry dirty media back across cleaned paint.
  4. Dry the cleaned section with a clean drying towel before moving on. A final hose rinse is not part of the rinseless method.
  5. For waterless use on lightly soiled surfaces, spray the correct dilution generously enough to wet the working area, wipe gently with fresh towel faces and finish with a separate towel.
  6. For drying-aid use, first complete a conventional wash and rinse. Apply the 1:20 mix sparingly to a drying towel or clean wet panel, then dry.

Application Tips and Things to Watch For

Dilution ratios above are product to water, not product as a fraction of the final mixed volume. Label your mixed bottles so a stronger waterless solution is not confused with the rinseless bucket mixture.

Work on cool surfaces and keep each section wet while cleaning. Waterless washing is not appropriate for caked-on mud or abrasive grit. Check local site rules where washing is restricted; using less water does not itself establish permission to wash.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between rinseless and waterless washing?

Rinseless washing uses a bucket of diluted solution and wet wash media, then towel drying without a final hose rinse. Waterless cleaning uses a stronger spray mixture and multiple clean towels on suitably light contamination.

Which rinseless dilution should I use?

GYEON lists a range from 1:150 to 1:256. Follow the bottle guidance and choose based on the application. Extra concentrate does not make a heavily gritty vehicle suitable for wiping without pre-rinsing.

Can it maintain a ceramic-coated car?

Yes. It is suitable for coated and uncoated vehicles and adds a temporary surface effect. Follow the coating’s curing restrictions before using it on a newly coated car.

Does the SiO₂ replace a ceramic coating?

No. It adds light repellency and improves the finish during maintenance. It does not create the same protection as a dedicated coating installation.

How many towels do I need?

Enough to keep clean material against the paint throughout the job. Vehicle size and dirt level determine the number. Have spares ready instead of trying to stretch one dirty towel across the entire car.
